Information about recycling
Lancaster City Council has comprehensive information on its website. You can also download a handy leaflet.
There are also local recycling points for a number of items:
Batteries. Collection box at Tatham Fells School
Postage Stamps. Can be left at Bentham Post Office, which has an arrangement with a charity.
Textiles. Tatham Fells School collects three times a year on specified days to raise funds for the Friends of the School. Phone 015242 61441 for details.
Medication blister packs. Accepted by Superdrug, Nicholas Square, Lancaster.
